raghu maama – good evening maama – please dont scold me for this message. this is NOT a political message, but just to clarify one small thing. there is a complete difference in the way the word “sanaata dharmam” is interpreted in north india versus TN. in north, it means the following – hinduism, cow worship, atman and brahman, cycle of life, teachings of our great religion hinduism( all very relevant and correct, no doubt). but in TN, it means ONLY one thing – caste system, varnaashramam, discrimination of lower castes etc etc nothing else. so when someone in TN says that “i am against sanaata dharma”, it does NOT mean it is against hinduism. it only means that the person is against jaadi-verithanam. (thamizhians romba yosikarthilla, about other aspects of hinduism) TN state has highest number of temples in whole india. each of them very well maintained under hrce dept. am really very proud about this fact. out of 108 divya desams, 84 of them are in tn itself ! so, if we feel that some hindus are superior and others inferior, then yes, TN is against SD. but if we feel all are equal, then TN is always for SD
