- Dear all – Sunday evening (15/Mar/2026), we were part of two very fulfilling celebrations. 1. Vilakku at the ayyappa temple 2. Kodi yettam (yetram) at mukkaalvattam temple for the devi. The kodi yettam formally signifies the start of the 9/10 day festivities from the first day of the malayalam month of meenam (panguni). - 17/03/2026, Tuesday. With Vishu (tamil chitthirai, varushappirappu) round the corner. The village is awash with the golden hues of konna (kondrai) poo. The accompanying photo is just outside our home with kondrai poo as a perfect backdrop! The bhagavathy seva at the pulivilakom devi temple, was very nice this morning. Just look at the lush and thriving crop of mangoes in the temple precincts and enroute to the temple, not to mention the jackfruits!! Sharing for your pleasure

Witnessed the dusk hour beauty of the vast expanse of water and the vignette of pinkish-orange sky on the horizon, it was a sight to behold!!
