X2-ammamma used to have a long list ( written in cardboard paper). prepared with help of grandkids like anusha. every marriage day/bday, first prompt call in morning from ammamma! in fact, she also upgraded technologically! ( when arvind came from US holidays, she got it entered in yahoo groups). now my sampa dhodamma following tradition. really feels blessed to receive our first call from elders

X3-raghu maama – we are all most fortunate to be under ur guidance – first nephews and now grand nephews and nieces! many old memories where u took me when I was arshit age – the tambaram painting competition, the kalaivaanar arangam vr nedunzhezhian speech etc.in fact, I even remember vrn joke- 103 in plane, only 100 capacity so about to crash. X6-older generation may remember this. my late father (appukutti maama) used to maintain a count. everytime a new kid was born, count = count + 1 !. purpose of his counting was not to maintain any accurate record, but rather to tell everyone that look, it is me appukkutty vs this number this wud be a great great step. like how we all felt so good when we visited paalavadi temple, it will feel so good to see the full chain from even before harirao. practically speaking, an IT youngster in chennai (with physical support from the elders) shud do this – the best sites are geni.com and ancestry.com

X8-lakshmi aunty – warmest wishes on anniversary. cannot forget this wonderful timeat the kalyana mandapam ( near 5 lights salem) yesterday at sunitha-bhaskar (yashila) reception, mahesh raghavan and shravan sridhar – famous ipad instrumentalist/vocalist duo – performed. they also did this “shape of u” number. what a performance ! what an evening napad 2gen – *as u know, both cowin app and website open for registration at 9am today. pl download the app on ur mobile as well. pl keep aadhaar card of ur parents ready in hand. pl identify your closest vaccination hospital and keep it ready. as soon as website opens at 9, book ur slot accordingly. i hope all next-gen folks will do this for their parents asap

X9-i spoke to a nearby hospital. i will go meet them and do some under-hand arrangement for them to call me as soon as vaccine comes (maybe in next 2-3 days) ( hospitals themselves can also register on behalf of patients on the cowin portal anusha, today, in paalavaadi, we have seen the abhishegam photos, and we have all felt so proud about our ancestry. In same way, the Dravidian parties feel so proud of their ancestry/language. That pride alone has helped us move from 17th spot in 1967 to 2nd spot today among Indian states. And we are the most urbanised state in the country, contributing 1 rupee for every 33 paise we get from the center. So i feel the glory is completely justified and richly deserved
